Fact-finding, researching, and learning for the sake of learning have helped Candace navigate the new-to-her world of Juvenile Diabetes when one of her children was diagnosed at a very young age. She has been wrapping her mind around it over the last few years and has committed herself to help bring awareness around the condition through JDRF: Help Stamp Out Juvenile Diabetes By Finding The Cure.
