A person who enjoys learning new facts and acquiring new knowledge
Yep, I love - LOVE - learning. Curiosity comes naturally and the questions never seem to stop! I like to “digest” the knowledge that I “consume” and then put it into action wherever and whenever possible. Sharing knowledge totally amps me up and geeking out about the vast expanse that takes up space within our brains is a rabbit hole I tether a rope for before diving in.
Like everyone, a tidbit such as this only touches the surface of the amazingly complex humans we are. Each new piece forms a fuller version of something uniquely beautiful and intriguing. Who you are is so much more than what you’re sharing with the world - I guarantee it.
Getting to a place where you’re able and willing - no, excited! - to share these fascinating parts of yourself is no easy feat. In fact, it’s a constant practice. There are elements of our subconscious that we don’t even realize are holding us back from reaching our fullest potential in life and business but that doesn’t mean you can’t overcome them.
Committing to work on the mindset challenges that are making you hesitate to share your story is life-changing, literally. Jen Sincero, the author of the You Are a Badass series, says “Our thoughts become our words, our words become our beliefs, our beliefs become our actions, our actions become our habits, and our habits become our reality.”
Once you’ve figured out how to show up as your whole self, you will be aligned and confident with everything you’re putting out into the world. The reality of these actions is a richness in life and business that can only be found with this type of mastery of who you are and how you show up.
Be Your WHOLE Self!
Listen, I don’t stop being an expert in copywriting and content strategy while I’m wiping my baby’s bottom. Nor do you stop being who you are while you are functioning in different roles within your complex life. To make a meaningful impact, it is imperative that you show up wholly and truly in all that you do.
“The one thing that you have that nobody else has is you. Your voice, your mind, your story, your vision. So write and draw and build and dance and live only as you can.”
-The ONE Thing-
Seriously, fly your freak flag. You may be surprised by how many others have that very same flag tucked away in a drawer somewhere that they’re just waiting to take out and fly with you. Staying in alignment with your whole genuine self attracts the people and opportunities that will serve your true purpose and reaffirm the beauty of your individuality.
While Sincero reminds us that “worrying is praying for stuff you don’t want,” Mark Twain elaborates by telling us, “I have lived a long life and had many troubles, most of which never happened.” Step into a place where you can be unapologetically YOU. This will propel you into a mindset of self-acceptance in a way that allows you to own not only all of your quirks and flaws but also your brilliance.
"We are all perfect in our own, magnificent, fucked-up ways. Laugh at yourself. Love yourself and others. Rejoice in the cosmic ridiculousness.”
You Are a Badass
You have so much more knowledge, insights, and greatness than you know - share it with the world! Giving yourself permission to own your originality and step, wholly, into your authentic self puts you a level above the rest and gets you noticed.
Be the Boss!
Zero hesitation. You are the boss - of yourself, your life, and your business. You know who you are and you have at least an inkling of what you’re capable of; trust me, it’s big. Putting yourself out there is easy because you know when something is in alignment with your core.
"Vague aspirations lead to vague results; specific aspirations lead to kicking ass."
You Are a Badass
Nothing doesn’t fit. You don’t need to figure out which mask to wear because you are showing up as your whole self, always - Every glorious piece in attendance. Your ability to make decisions and act on them in a way that feels good is amplified from the inside out.
Is this journey scary?
Is it complicated?
Does it take time?
But it is so worth it.
Beginning at the root of it all by considering how your subconscious has shaped the way you put yourself out in the world makes mindset practice the obvious first step. There is so much about you that radiates and attracts in innumerable ways. You are doing yourself an injustice when you don’t bring your whole self to the table. Remember, the beautiful thing about being scared is that it’s your only chance to truly be brave.
Own your originality.
