It is in these challenging times that it is more important than ever to practice gratitude for all that we have. It's easy, once you know where to start.
Make a list of 10 things around you that have a purpose in your life. Everything from sentimental to practical. It can be a loved one or a sturdy pair of shoes.
Now thank them. Yes, thank those shoes and express your love to your loved one. That is being grateful and showing gratitude.
Doing this rewires your brain to recognize the positives in your life. It lessens and shortens those dark days to moments, letting you move onward and upward to becoming your best you.
It is during these obstacles that we get to choose our future selves. Don't let old adages about fate deter you from taking the steering wheel to your life. Making the conscious and mindful choice to recognize your life of abundance opens up the doors of possibility.
Take a moment each day, for it truly only takes a moment, and practice gratitude for 10 things in your life.
