Jessica takes ancient natural health and wellness practices and brings them into a modern light through Ayurveda, the sister science to the beloved practice of yoga. Many health coaches focus on weight loss and confidence when they support their tribe. For Jessica, these are just surface issues that can only truly be resolved when you treat the root cause of wellness imbalance. Jessica is a strong supporter of intentionally single-tasking your days and life as best as you can. This allows you to be more grounded and present within yourself and highlights your body’s natural cues that can pinpoint underlying problems in your general health and wellness. Try: Unplug (no social media) while you’re doing things in the real world like grocery shopping or playing with the kids.
Jessica practices single-tasking as she indulges in her passions in the kitchen - man, can she cook! She loves food and reads cookbooks like they're novels. It’s a hobby fueled by a passion that directly ties into her Ayurvedic expertise. She also loves being out in nature, especially with her kids, learning about the world through their always-evolving eyes and minds. Almost nothing else in the whole world compares.
Her children are one of many reasons why she supports environmentalism and being as eco-conscious as possible. Our planet is amazing and resilient - she's the ultimate healer and plays a key role in all of the ancient practices that have proven themselves by standing the test of time. Although our Mother Earth is eventually going to be fine, we need to do what we can to limit our own carbon footprints so that she doesn't get sick of us humans! We will eventually be our own destruction. Check out David Attenborough's "A Life on Our Planet" on Netflix to get a really gorgeous perspective on this. Healing our precious planet is non-negotiable.
