Femme Friday is a project that features service-based women in business every Friday.
On your feature date, your spotlight will be shared across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, & Instagram) as well as through Shauna Leigh Artistry's weekly mailing list and on this directory page.
Other than increasing visibility and helping to expand your network, this project is intended to create a space where women are encouraged to elevate their voices and speak out about something they believe in. Charities, social advocacies, environmentalism, and humanitarianism; it's about solidarity and mutual support.
In all that is shared in this project, we keep to the mantra:
Lead with Kindness.
What's the catch?
There is no catch.
As a female business owner with big ideas and even bigger dreams, I can't tell you how many times someone has given me that 'knowing' smile, figurative pat on the head, and a semi-sarcastic "good luck with that".
Luckily, I'm the kind of woman who takes that as a challenge and, because you're here, I know you are too.
We can move mountains, we can rise above the naysayers, we can achieve everything we set our minds to - there's no doubt in that - but why not help others at it while you do?
As a feminist, advocate for equal human rights and environmental responsibility (among a great many other things), I know the struggles of being heard in a largely patriarchal world. Let's change that by elevating each other's voices in all things womanhood, female business professional, and champion for positive change in this crazy beautiful world.
The only thing asked of you, but not expected, is that you take the time to share your own and others spotlights across platforms so as to validate our passions and increase everyone's visibility.
That's what we're here for, right? To lift one another up!

What does it look like to take part in Femme Friday?
When you click the button to sign up, you will be redirected to a form where there are a few questions to answer about yourself, your business, and something that you feel strongly about (make sure you have a headshot and business logo at the ready!). You may fill out this form with full sentences or point-form. At the end of the form, there is a prompt to book in for a short call for us to make sure that your information is represented accurately and to find the best way to make you shine!
If you struggle writing about yourself, don't worry!
On our call, we will go over the questions and make you feel confident in how you're showing up to the world.
As a copywriter, it's kinda what I do.
Once you have shared all of the required information, you will be entered into the content share schedule based on a number of factors including but not limited to: monthly theme, co-Femme's with similar businesses, and other extranious variables. You will be notified of your feature date the month before it is shared.
Easy-peasy lemon-squeezy.
